Mobile Suit Gundam Seed: Battle Destiny Remastered is a refreshed version of the game Gundam Seed Battle Destiny. The original game was created for the PlayStation Vita handheld and it was released exclusively in Japan. The remake was developed by Bandai Namco Forge Digitals studio, which belongs to Bandai Namco Entertainment company.

Gameplay

In Mobile Suit Gundam Seed: Battle Destiny Remastered, the action is viewed from a third-person perspective (TPP).

Sides of the conflict and missions

The game allows us to side with one of the three feuding factions, namely Earth Alliance Forces, ZAFT, or Archangel. The gameplay is primarily about completing missions, in which we take control of the titular mechs - Gundams. We go through levels, accomplishing objectives set before us.

Gundam combat and development system

Fierce battles with other pilots also play an important role here. Depending on our style of play, they can be fought in close combat or at a distance. We must be constantly moving on the battlefield, dodging and parrying attacks, as well as launching quick counterattacks.

As we progress, we unlock additional Gundams. Additionally, over time we improve our mechs, which allows us to face increasingly bigger challenges.

While working on this refresh, the developers primarily focused on the graphics. There are visual improvements both to the Gundams and the environment. Additionally, the game save system was rebuilt, and adjustments were made to the difficulty level (acquiring new mechs became somewhat easier). We were also given access to a new control scheme and tracking modes.
