Next Stop Nowhere is a science fiction adventure game. The player takes on the role of a courier who tries to help a woman to save her child. The game was developed by an independent company Night School Studio (creators of Afterparty).
The main character of Next Stop Nowhere is Beckett, a space courier who one day meets a former bounty hunter named Serra. An accidental encounter with a woman puts him in a dangerous situation where the life of a certain child (and potentially the protagonist himself, not used to similar problems) is at stake.
In Next Stop Nowhere we observe the action from different perspectives. The player's task is to travel through the locations, talk to the characters and solve puzzles. In conversations we often make decisions that shape both the continuation of the story and the hero's relationship with the individual characters.
From time to time we also sit at the helm of a spaceship - our task is then to travel through space and avoid obstacles (e.g. asteroids).
In Next Stop Nowhere we can only play alone. The core of the game is a feature campaign.
Next Stop Nowhere has quite a nice, three-dimensional graphic design. The graphic design are quite simple, but is characterized by an interesting artistic style and expressive colors.
