The title features various cars and maps, on which the player can complete missions focused on delivering criminals to their hideouts. Completing missions is awarded with money that can be spent on new vehicles and upgrades that increase combat potential.

Pako 2 is a sequel to the well-received game Pako: Car Chase Simulator. The creators of the original title, the independent Finnish studio Tree Men Games, developed the new entry in the series. Similarly to its predecessor, the game is a car action game released for AND, PC and iOS.

Plot

In Pako 2 the players once again assume the role of a thug escaping from the law enforcers. This time the protagonist isn’t a nameless criminal, but a driver who makes a living from delivering criminals to their hideouts.

Mechanics

In Pako 2 for AND, PC and iOS the action is shown from an isometric perspective. The players have access to a few vast maps with forests, snowy plains, suburbs and sunny beaches. The players can travel through them with various cars – new ones can be bought for cash earned during missions. By progressing through the game, player gains not only American limousines and muscle cars, but pick-ups and vans as well.

The money is also useful for upgrading specific cars. They can be equipped with special modifiers (like mines) that increase combat potential. It is also possible to hire a shooter that will use machine gun to stop policemen. Contrary to the previous entry in the series, this time a single crash doesn’t end the game – the car has a health bar and the player must restart the game only once it is depleted.

Game modes

Similarly to Pako: Car Chase Simulator, Pako 2 for AND, PC and iOS can be played alone or with another player who assumes the role of the above mentioned shooter. It is also possible to share results on online scoreboards and there is a special photo mode available.

Technical aspects

The three-dimensional graphics of Pako 2 for AND, PC and iOS use the same characteristic style as the previous game in the series. However, the visuals became more detailed – the developers improved surrounding elements, car models, colors and lighting. Thanks to that the graphics are of decent quality. Dynamic soundtrack composed by DKSTR accompanies the player during the game.
