Picross S2 is a puzzle game whose aim is to create images by painting the fields of the diagrams. The whole is based on the principles of the puzzle known as "painting by numbers".
Picross S2 is the next installment in a series of puzzle games. The entire series is based on the principles of the puzzle known as "painting by numbers". The game was developed by Jupiter Corporation.
The mechanics of Picross S2 do not differ much from the previous installments in the series. Player's task is to paint the fields of the diagram in order to obtain a specific image. The numbers around the board tell the player how many of the fields should be marked in a given row or column.
In addition to the standard Picross mode, the production also offers two additional gameplay options - Mega Picross and Clip Picross. In the last one, the puzzles solved are part of a larger picture. The whole game consists of a total of three hundred puzzles.
Picross S2 can be played as a single player or in a two-player cooperative mode.
Picross S2 does not offer much progress in of aesthetics, the production features minimalistic, two-dimensional visuals. Gameplay is accompanied by relaxing music.
