A dynamic shoot'em up in which we take control of a cybernetic Corgi dog, trying to get its master out of the hands of aliens and, by the way, save the galaxy. In ProtoCorgi, we are going right in, barking and firing on alien crowds.
ProtoCorgi is a dynamic retro shoot'em up. The game was developed by the independent studio Kemono Games and published by Ravenscourt.
The main hero of ProtoCorgi game is Bullet, which is a cybernetic Corgi, to be precise - C3 class model (Cute Cyber Corgi). The dog's task is to rescue his master from the hands of a mysterious breed of alien creatures. The success of his mission depends not only on the fate of the scientist, but also on the fate of the galaxy as a whole, because the aliens are going to take it over for themselves.
In ProtoCorgi we observe the action from the side. During the game, we run to the right and eliminate the hordes of enemies (headed by mighty bosses), making use of an extensive arsenal. Our cybernetic Corgi can not only bark at its enemies (which is reminiscent of using a machine gun), but also fire at them with rocket launchers or use more fancy tools of destruction like deadly lasers; in addition, along the way we gain power-ups that increase its combat potential. Our actions are constantly evaluated by the scoring system and the achieved result can be improved by collecting cosmic fruits scattered over levels.
ProtoCorgi has colourful graphics made in the pixel art technique. The retro style is completed by a dynamic chiptune soundtrack.
