Realpolitiks II

Compared to the first part of the series, the game boasts completely rebuilt systems of economic management and warfare, as well as extensive diplomacy. Among other things, the buildings speed up the recruitment of units, provide defense against hostile attacks or even extend the supply lines of our troops. An important role on the way to supremacy is also played by work on new projects and technologies (out of over a thousand available) and trade. New diplomatic actions such as non-aggression pacts, military agreements, trade agreements and complex peace negotiations help to maintain good relations with selected countries. Additionally, we can send spies to our friends and enemies. With time, these units gain experience and improve their abilities. In a state of war we make use of a completely new combat system. The battles take place on separate maps covered by a grid of square fields, and during the clashes not only the formation, equipment and strengths and weaknesses of our units must be taken into , but also the topography of the terrain or weather conditions. Battles are fought both on land and at sea and in the air.

Game modes

Realpolitik II only allows you to play alone, in three extensive campaigns. Special tools have been built into the game to create modifications (such as campaigns, scenarios, units or countries) and share them with the community.

Technical aspects

Although the graphic design of Realpolitiks II does not differ significantly from what other grand strategy games are used to, the whole thing has been clearly improved in relation to the visual sphere of the first part of the cycle. The interface has also been improved and has become more transparent.
