Regiments: Winds of Change

Regiments: Winds of Change is an add-on to the RTS released in August 2022, titled Regiments. Just like the base version of the game, the DLC was developed by Bird’s Eye Games studio.

Gameplay

Regiments: Winds of Change does not bring any revolutionary changes in of in-game mechanics. Instead, the authors focused on introducing new content. The most important new feature is the War Paths mode, offering access to new operations which are procedurally generated. As part of the campaigns created by them, we participate in battles and complete random mission objectives, which include attacking or defending selected points on the map, intercepting targets or escorting allies.

The DLC also brings regiments from , the Netherlands, Canada and Czechoslovakia, which take an active part in the fights. Depending on the side of the conflict we have chosen, we can fight alongside them or against them. The expansion also introduces new units, led by airborne troops and fighters, as well as 50 previously unavailable vehicles and weapon systems, which significantly expand our range of tactical possibilities.
