A mobile arcade racing game with platform game features. It is the first game developed by Klang Games. In ReRunners: Race for the World the player assumes the role of a runner who wants to become the best runner in the world. Other players have a similar goal and one must race against them during the game.
ReRunners: Race for the World for AND and iOS is a game developed by Klang Games studio. This is the first project of this company, which was founded in 2013 by Ivar Emilsson, Mundi Vondi, and Oddur Magnusson - former employees of C Games (the creators of EVE Online).
The game combines elements of a 2D arcade platformer with a racing game. In ReRunners: Race for the World, we play as one of the people trying to become the best runner in the world. Of course, other players also want to do that, so we have to race against them. The game is relatively simple because it consists mainly of jumping and overcoming obstacles, but the levels have an open structure, so you can also explore them, trying to collect power-ups like a jetpack or bombs, thanks to which you will have an easier time finishing the race first.
Developers have prepared a number of additional attractions. The game features more than 60 levels - we can race in a jungle, on an island floating in the skies, or on a rainbow. In addition, our character gains experience thanks to which we can get better skills (e.g. double jump). All this is complemented by the option to adjust the appearance of the character.
ReRunners: Race for the World for AND and iOS is a production designed for multiplayer matches with other players. Therefore, a permanent Internet connection is required during the game.
The game was created in a cartoon style. Locations are abstract, just like angular figures. However, the visuals are unique and make a very good impression.
