The second part of the series of RPGs with simulation elements, in which we play the leader of the music band and accompany him on his way to fame. In Rising Star 2 we deal not only with concerting, but also with the business aspect of our musician.
Rising Star 2 is the second part of the series of RPGs with simulation elements, in which we can become the leader of a music band on the way to world fame. This game is the work of the indie studio Gilligames, which also created the prototype called Shady O'Grady's Rising Star.
In Rising Star 2 we observe the action from two perspectives. The interiors are seen from the protagonist's eyes (FPP), while what is happening outside is shown from the bird's eye view.
We start the game by choosing an American city where our adventure will begin. Next, we create a dream character and compose a well-designed band consisting of other music lovers. Its will take on a variety of responsibilities, from playing instruments to overseeing the production process or the business aspect of our activity.
After all, we can engage in creative work, i.e. writing and composing songs or polishing our skills through numerous attempts. We still have no choice but to visit local clubs to find a place for our first performance. If we do well, over time we will play more and more often and for more people, and our mailbox will burst at the seams from messages sent by influential people interested in cooperation. Finally, we will also leave our first city to start a tour across the United States.
As you can easily guess, gaining more and more fame has a direct impact on the amount of money in our . We can use the earned money to buy a house in any visited city (after all, staying at home is always more comfortable than using the services of even the most expensive hotels) and various decorations, optical tuning of your van or even for clothes, hairstyles and various accessories for individual team .
The graphic design of Rising Star 2 is not very impressive. Although the performances of our band look decent, the cities look almost the same as in the original over thirteen years older (which was not impressive at the time of the premiere).
