Robo Recall for PC is a first person perspective action game offering a virtual reality experience. The game was developed by Epic Games and requires virtual reality peripheralia as well as a motion controller.
Plot
The action of the game takes place in a near future, in a world where AI-controlled public utility robots are common and used in large quantities by various institutions. Nevertheless, the machines have a tendency to malfunction and often begin to turn against their human overlords. In such cases, a special liquidator enters the scene and takes care of the problem – the player assumes the role of such person.
Mechanics
Robo Recall for PC is a dynamic first person shooter focused on spectacular shootouts and score-based rivalry. The player travels through different area located in a single city, each filled with mechanical enemies. We are left with the ability to teleport freely around the map by targeting the chosen area by sight.
The game is characteristic for its complex combat system. The robots are affected by our attacks and interact with the environment, while the player can make use of numerous spectacular maneuvers, such as throwing enemies or swiping the incoming bullets.
The progress in game results in new weaponry and spare parts that are used to upgrade our equipment. Interestingly enough, these additional elements are acquired by breaking our enemies apart and scavenging what is left. Upgrades and modifications are applied during our stay in base to which we return between the assignments.
