Shuffle Tactics

Shuffle Tactics is a tactical RPG, enriched with solutions taken from card games and the roguelike genre. The production was developed by Club Sandwich, an independent French studio, and the source of inspiration for its creators were primarily Slay the Spire games.

Gameplay

In Shuffle Tactics, the action is shown in isometric view.

Turn-based skirmishes

The overarching gameplay element is turn-based skirmishes with opponents. Clashes take place in arenas covered with a grid of square p?les, and we lead our chosen heroes and their sidekicks into them.

Cards, heroes and their skills

Each hero has an individual set of skills and strengths and weaknesses; the same applies to their companions, among whom we find a scout, necromancer or assassin, among others. These are reflected in the decks of cards associated with specific attacks and abilities that are played during combat. The key to success, therefore, is not only the correct positioning of units on the battlefield, but also the composition of a set of cards whose various elements complement each other.
