The first expansion for the turn-based strategy game inspired by the Heroes of Might & Magic series. Songs of Conquest: Rise Eternal introduces a new campaign in which we play as the reanimated necromancer Kastus Maal, commanding an army of the undead.
Rise Eternal is the first expansion to the Songs of Conquest turn-based strategy game released in May 2024 (final 1.0 version). The add-on was developed by the authors of the base game, namely the Lavapotion studio.
The expansion introduces new stories and missions supplementing the game's story campaign, in which Kastus Maal, a scholar killed in battle by Empress Stouthheart from the Arleon faction, seeks revenge on her as a reanimated necromancer. For this purpose, he leads the army of the Undead belonging to the Barony of Loth, which under his leadership is even more powerful.
The reanimated Kastus attracts the attention of the Undead, who gather around him, forming an army ready to rise from the graves after the initial defeat.
New features have been added to the game: four maps created for Kastus's revenge on Cecilia Stoutheart and powerful artifacts that allow to obtain additional bonuses.
Along with the premiere of the expansion, there is also a free update for the base game improving the mechanics of the Undead and introducing new artifact sets.
