While controlling the Spider-Man character we constantly move forward, collecting special vials, avoiding obstacles and performing jumps, slides and spectacular stunts with the use of a spider web. The game is complemented by a feature mode, in which every few stages we have to fight against various bosses, brought to New York by the Green Goblin.

Spider-Man: Unlimited, released on AND, iOS and WP, is a third-person arcade game licensed by Marvel, belonging to the popular genre of so-called endless runners. Gameloft is responsible for the creation of the title, having exclusive rights for mobile games starring Spider-Man.

Plot

An important element of Spider-Man: Unlimited is the story mode, in which our hero confronts one of his eternal enemies: Green Goblin, who opened a special portal in New York, through which he got various villains from alternative worlds. They turn into bosses, with which we have to fight at the end of each chapter. By making progress, we unlock several alternative costumes - both for Spider-Man himself and his opponents, which is a kind of attraction for all fans of the popular universe.

Mechanics

According to the rules of the genre, Spider-Man moves forward constantly, trying to avoid obstacles encountered and collect special vials scattered on the path. Compared to most endless runners, the range of moves is much wider: during the game, we not only fight against various opponents but also perform spectacular jumps and evolutions using spider webs shot. The goal of the game is to achieve the best possible score in each stage, which is recorded in a special online ranking.

Technical aspects

Spider-Man: Unlimited features high-quality 3D graphics, maintained in a distinctive comic style. The game uses the popular free-to-play model with microtransactions, which allows us to avoid the restrictions imposed by the creators. In this case, it is a 5-part energy bar that regenerates each cell after 5 minutes.
