Splitgate: Arena Warfare is a FPS inspired by iconic shooters like the Quake and Unreal Tournament series, whose premise are enriched by mechanics taken from the Portal series. The production is a debut project of the independent American studio 1047 Games.
In Splitgate: Arena Warfare we observe the action from FPP. During the game we take part in dynamic duels on various arenas. The list of the latter includes a futuristic nightclub, a space base, an ancient temple or even a vast mansion.
In the course of the game we use an extensive arsenal of firearms, which consists of pistols, machine guns and sniper rifles, as well as inventions such as plasma rifles or electromagnetic guns. The battles are enriched by the presence of portals that we can create in designated areas; not only do they allow us to quickly move between distant points on the map, but they also enrich our tactical options (the player who has been trained in battles will use them to flank opponents or evacuate from a dangerous zone).
Despite the fact that the title contains no such elements as specialties or perks, the authors enables us to modify the appearance of characters and weapons.
Splitgate: The Arena Warfare was developed for multiplayer fun over the Internet.
Splitgate: Arena Warfare is powered by the Unreal Engine 4 technology. Colorful three-dimensional graphics of this production show high quality, and its design resembles the Halo series.

Game Ratings for Splitgate Video Game.
GameSpace: 6 / 10 by James Evans
Splitgate: Arena is a game that really struggles with its identity, and that focus ultimately relegates a potentially great game to mediocrity.
DualShockers: 6.5 / 10 by Jordan Boyd
Splitgate: Arena Warfare has the foundation of a great shooter but its generic ideas and lack of originality get in the way of something that should feel a lot better than it is.
XboxEra: 8.8 / 10
The excellent portal system, combined with one of the tightest FPS modules in recent years, makes me believe I'll be playing this a lot as I wait for Halo Infinite to drop. And, frankly? I'm not even that certain 343's much-awaited title will have Splitgate beaten in all aspects. It is simply that good.
