Star Wars: Droid Repair Bay for PC is a free game that debuted before the premiere of the movie Star Wars: The Last Jedi. The title was developed by ILMxLAB, the creators of the similar game Trials on Tatooine.
Star Wars: Droid Repair Bay takes place between the events presented in the eighth episode of Star Wars saga. The player assumes the role of a member of the ship used by general Leia Organa and other Resistance to travel. The protagonist is tasked with repairing BB droids damaged during the fights with the First Order.
The events in the PC version of Star Wars: Droid Repair Bay are presented from a first-person perspective. During the game the player must replace corrupted parts of BB-8 and his companions so that the repaired robots can return to combat.
The game requires virtual reality goggles and motion controllers thanks to which it is possible to freely look around and interact with selected objects.
Star Wars: Droid Repair Bay features high quality three-dimensional graphics – detailed droids are especially worth mentioning. It is worth adding that the sounds, including the noises generated by robots, are taken straight from the movie.
