Steel Division 2: Black Sunday is the third add-on to the historic strategy Steel Division 2. The DLC moves the player to the Eastern Front, where we participate in the Soviet Union's invasion of the allied Romania.
Steel Division 2: Black Sunday is the third expansion to the 2019 Steel Division 2 strategy. The DLC takes place in 1944 on the Eastern Front, presenting the history of the Soviet Union's invasion of Romania, a country allied with . Eugen Systems is responsible for the development and release of the add-on.
Steel Division 2: Black Sunday doesn't make any significant changes to the gameplay. This is a strategy that combines turn-based elements (strategy development and management of units, preparation for battle) with real-time action (battles in which we command).
The expansion also introduces a number of new units – six historical divisions, such as the 5 Cavalerie Motorizata and the Div. 4 Munte. In the DLC we can also find a lot of gear, such as Vanatorul de Care R-35 tank destroyer, JRS-79B bombers, BKA riverboats or T-80 tanks. A total of 150 new units and two aces (tank destroyer Lazar Munteanu and Soviet pilot Konstantin Dmitrievich Denisov) were added to the game.
Steel Division 2: Black Sunday is launching two more feature campaigns, focusing on two parts of the Soviet offensive. In each of them we can play alone or with a second player who takes control over enemies. In the second case it is necessary to the free Army General Versus add-on.
Steel Division 2: Black Sunday doesn't make any changes to the main game, although we are getting several new skins for tanks and planes.
The expansion is not independent, which means that it requires a basic version of Steel Division 2 to work.
