Stellaris: Federations is an expansion to Paradox's in-house strategy for managing space empire. The add-on focuses on the development of diplomacy and title federations.
Federations is an add-on to the space strategy called Stellaris. It focuses on diplomacy and the title federations. Paradox is responsible for the development of the expansion.
Stellaris: Federations is greatly expanding the role of diplomacy in the game. With the add-on, empires take part in the meetings of the galaxy senate. During the session, the players can vote on laws that are beneficial to them, such as the commitment to common defence. Political influence can be gained by, among other things, doing favors for foreign leaders. The role of federations in the game has also been expanded. Belonging to one of them can bring many benefits to the player. Diplomatic options can increase the unity of the community and unlock bonuses for all Member States.
The add-on also introduces the origins of empires. When starting a new game, the player can determine under which circumstances a civilization was created. This translates into starting conditions.
We also have a number of new buildings at our disposal, such as a mobile starbase called Juggernaut or a Mega Shipyard that enables us to create whole fleets.
Stellaris: Federations requires the basic version of the game to work.
