An episodic adventure game created by the developers of Me, a French studio DONTNOD. The game bears a resemblance to Telltale Games titles. Its protagonist is a 12th grade student named Max Caulfield, who returns to her home town in Oregon after years of absence. Together with her old friend she tries to solve the mysterious disappearance of her schoolmate, which prompts a series of strange events. The story is the essential part for the game, whereas gameplay mechanics are based on the well-proven formula employed by Telltale, which combines free exploration and difficult choices with non-obvious consequences. An interesting addition to the gameplay is the fact that Max possesses the power to manipulate time, allowing you to experience another version of events without having to restart an entire episode. On the technical side, the game is well-designed and well-executed, featuring expressive, slightly cartoonish graphics.

Another installment in the highly-rated action adventure game franchise following on the eponymous Prince, who in the past carelessly unsealed the mythical sands of time. After events of the previous part of the game, the protagonist return to his home – Babylon – plunged in the chaos of war. Soon it turns out that the previous actions of the hero led to the birth of his dark alter ego, whose spirit gradually takes over control over the protagonist's will. Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones expands the mechanics implemented in the two previous installments and introduces new improvements to the combat system, as well as some innovative uses for the dagger of time and skills unavailable before, like sneaking. The biggest novelty offered by the game is the possibility of controlling two characters different with personalities, fighting styles, and abilities.

Sequel to the 2003’s Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, rebooting the story of the hero from the classic 2D platformer from Broderbund Software studio. This time the prince has to deal with consequences of his reckless actions. He managed to turn back time and prevent releasing The Sands of Time, but he did not change his destiny, resulting in Guardian of Time chasing him to seal his fate. He travels to the mysterious island where, according to the legends, the Sands were made; the prince attempts to change the past and prevent their creation, thus saving himself from the fate. Prince of Persia: Warrior Within has a much darker atmosphere, but the gameplay is similar to its predecessor. Our hero must overcome many obstacles and traps, not to mention enemies. Game introduces a new, expanded fighting system, with prince himself becoming stronger and gaining new abilities.

Another major installment in the famous action adventure game series. In of story, Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands is set between The Sands of Time and Warrior Within, and focuses on the events that caused the drastic, dark change within the Prince. Upon reaching his brother’s realm, the Prince finds the capital city about to fall, besieged by an enemy army. In an attempt to protect the citizens from a massacre, the city’s ruler resorts to using a powerful, yet dangerous magic that eventually turns against him. The game itself is based on the core mechanics of the series. Therefore, we can expect multiple platforming sequences, environmental puzzles, and battles against powerful enemies. An interesting addition is the ability to control the forces of natures, which comes in handy both in combat and when traversing subsequent locations. Of course the series’ landmark feature — the ability to reverse and slow down time — is back. Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands is powered by the Anvil engine, the technology previously used in the two first Assassin’s Creed games.

With the help of the beautiful princess Farah, the protagonist has to make up for his mistake and bring back order to his land by facing various creatures and dangers. Gameplay of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time is seen from the third-person perspective and features fully 3D graphics. During the course of the game, the hero makes use of the supernatural power to control the time. The creators emphasize their effort to recreate the characteristic elements of the original title, like realistic animations and combat system.

You assume the role of a priest named Lafcadio Boone who – just like in the movie Groundhog Day – falls into a time loop and relives the day of the murder again and again. Primarily, the title focuses on investigating each homicide and figuring out how to prevent it. To do that, you will have to explore, chat, solve mysteries, and face occasional stealth challenges. Advanced AI deserves special recognition as it simulates the way the guests live and react.

A science-fiction action game played from the first-person view and created by Raven Software - an experienced developer popular mainly for series such as Hexen, Heretic, Soldier of Fortune, or the latest installments in both the Quake and the Wolfenstein series. The player assumes the role of an American soldier sent on a mission to investigate a mysterious, post-Soviet island. It turns out that the place is constantly traveling in time as a result of mysterious forces affecting it. The unsuccessful Soviet experiment that is at the bottom of this situation was supposed to change the course of the Cold War. The game is based on the classic formula enriched with original time-traveling elements. The players have the Time Manipulation Device at their disposal and thus they can make objects and enemies either younger or older at will. This allows the player to recapture a moment when a bridge was in one piece for example. More than once, the player has to travel back in time in order to affect the present timeline and make a progress in the story by doing so.

An unusual adventure game developed by The Voxel Agents - an independent studio. The main protagonists of the game are a stubborn girl named Arina and her young, yet incredibly intelligent friend - Frendt. They land in a world made of their memories and objects related to them. The two friends are tasked with discovering the secrets of this world. Players get to observe from the side-perspective how the two protagonists explore small, surreal locations and solve both environmental and logic puzzles based on manipulating the time and matter. Particular worlds (the titular Gardens) have been built in a cylindrical form - they have one central point composed of the objects from Arina's and Frendt's past (e.g. a computer with all its components or gardening tools). The game features simple, yet pleasing visuals following a cartoonish convention. During their adventure, the player is accompanied by an atmospheric ambient soundtrack.
