A racing game by the creators of Velocity and Coconut dodge, developed for PlayStation VR. In Tiny Trax you control toy cars and race on several wacky tracks in such locations as e.g. the jungle or a space station. The tracks are full of obstacles, ramps, and other elements. The cars are not bound by the laws of physics, as they can even ride up a wall.
Tiny Trax for PS4 is another game by FuturLab, known for e.g. Coconut Dodge. This time the production was developed for the PlayStation VR headset.
The game is a dream come true for all toy car fans, who wanted their toys to break the laws of physics. The gameplay is similar to that in such productions as Micro Machines: World Series. You control tiny cars, racing your opponents to be the first one who crosses the finish line. The cars can accelerate using speed boosters, but to use them you first need to fill a special bar by drifting, which is not that difficult to do on the wacky tracks.
The tracks are the main attraction of the game; there are twelve of them to choose from. They are located in varied environments, e.g. in the jungle or on a space station. Each tracks has many features, from ramps, through paths running across walls, to icy caves or waterfalls.
You can play Tiny Trax for PS4 on your own, racing five AI-controlled opponents. There is also a multiplayer mode for three players, in which you fight for better results to display in the online ranking.
Tiny Tracks is a funny production with fitting cartoonish visuals. Moreover, thanks to the VR technology, you can feel as if you were watching the races from a spot just beside the track.

Game Ratings for Tiny Trax Video Game.
Video Chums: 6.3 / 10 by A.J. Maciejewski
Tiny Trax is conceptually an excellent VR game but its lack of replay value, unintuitive track layouts, and frustrating level of difficulty are quite disappointing.
PlayStation Universe: 7.5 / 10 by John-Paul Jones
Fun is woven into every aspect of Tiny Trax being, and while the lack of additional modes and relatively no-frills VR implementation both leave something to be desired, the skilful handling model will keep most wannabe racers of all ages coming back for more.
Cubed3: 5 / 10 by Albert Lichi
Tiny Trax set its goal fairly low and achieved it. It has very shallow and simple gameplay that is dressed up by stunning visuals and polished presentation. Soundwise, the experience is forgettable and leaves no impression whatsoever. After the initial wow factor of the VR implementation wears off, there really isn't much to this game, and, really, it could have been playable without it at all. The multi-player modes may not have strength to it, either, given the core base for PSVR headsets is really niche, making this a very hard recommendation. It is as exciting as actual slot car racing.
