Continuation of tower defense game from 2012. In production we take command over the army of soldiers, which we use to defend the base against attacks of enemy units. The title offers more than 200 missions, tournaments and PvP games.
Toy Defense 2 for iOS and AND is the continuation of the 2012 tower defense game. The production was created by Melesta Games, known primarily from the Farm Frenzy series, although it has also developed such titles as Green City, Rolling Idols or Spooky Mall. Interestingly, in May 2015 the studio established cooperation with Wargaming (creators of World of Tanks, among others). Since then, both companies have been helping each other on different publishing and development levels.
While making Toy Defense 2, the developers from Melesta Games studio decided not to make any drastic changes to the gameplay - we have received a classic tower defense game. We play as an army commander (USA, USSR and ), defending access to the base from the enemies. Our main task is to arrange individual units in different places on the map so that opponents marching / driving / flying towards us receive enough damage. Of course, we do not have unlimited resources at our disposal and during a battle, we must use the funds wisely to buy more soldiers, guns and machines.
In Toy Defense 2 for iOS and AND, there are three main gameplay modes. First of all, we can complete PvE missions, in which we fight enemies controlled by artificial intelligence. The developers have prepared 240 missions in total, including several famous campaigns (Battle of Iwo Jima and Operation Overlord). In addition, we take part in tournaments and PvP battles, and the whole is complemented by rankings.
The graphics of Toy Defense 2, available on iOS and AND, are neat and spectacular, and the special effects in the form of various explosions can delight. The action is observed from a top-down perspective, so there is no advanced 3D technology, etc. However, this allows the player to focus on the game.
