Train Valley Origins is the fourth production under the Train Valley brand, which started in 2015. Similar to the previous parts of the series, we are dealing with a title on the border of economic strategies and logic games. The creators of the previous editions, namely the independent studio Flazm, are behind the development of this game.

Railway puzzles

The game takes place on miniature levels, each of which represents a separate logic puzzle, requiring us to deliver a specific cargo on time. Our task is to draw lines, as well as gradually modernize and expand the railway infrastructure.

When laying tracks, we must take into the topography of the terrain, which sometimes forces us to use tunnels or bridges. We should always keep an eye on the situation on the map, so that in case of need, we can quickly react and for example, place a switch or sidetrack at a critical point or change the route. If we mess up the matter, we could cause a disaster and destroy the train in a spectacular explosion.

Completing objectives entrusted to us is further complicated by the fact that our funds are limited. This means that sometimes you have to make an effort to achieve the goal set before us, while staying within the budget.

Travelling by train through time and space

The game takes us on a journey through four historical periods and places, such as the Wild West, China, or Norway. It also provides us with trains powered by various locomotives - from steam to much faster, modern units.

Level editor

The icing on the cake is the built-in game editor, which allows us to create our own puzzle levels and share them with the community.

Graphics

The graphic design of Train Valley Origins is maintained in the low poly style (based on a relatively small number of polygons) known from earlier titles under this brand.
