Two Worlds is an expansive role-playing game developer by Cracow, Poland-based studio Reality Pump (creators of the RTS series The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.
The story begins with an introduction to this fantasy world’s history. The world has changed ever since Aziraal, the god of war, was defeated in a grand battle ages ago. In it, hordes of rcs lost their leader and were forced to run to the devastated southern regions of the realm. Now, thousands of years laters, Aziraal’s tomb is still kept hidden by other gods, who do not want mere mortals to learn its secret. In the meantime, the peace between civilized races is hanging by a thread. When dwarves have unearthed an ancient temple dedicated to an unknown god, all nations of the fantasy world assumed this is a key to finding Aziraal’s tomb. A silent war starts all over again and soon it sparkles an orcs’ crusade against those who desecrate the burial site of their former leader. The true danger, however, lies somewhere else. A great power grows in secret, followed by fear and destruction. Its goal is simple: only one of the Two Worlds must survive.
Two Worlds for PC and X360 combines dynamic, yet simple combat system with the overall feel of having freedom of action. The developers wanted to create a game that stands out from other RPGs out on the market, offering players a chance to shape the entire world with their actions and create a unique story for their character. The game offers multi-threaded, non-linear storyline and engaging combat sequences. In order to attract as many players as possible, the game’s complexity changes depending on choices you make. Some other worth mentioning features are: simple and clear interface, unlimited character progression (players can experiment with different professions and change their previous progression choices), unique magic system allowing for creation of your own spells, horse riding, a variety of traps and snares that enrich skirmishes as well as dynamic combat that requires tactical thinking.
