Vambrace: Dungeon Monarch is a card game with elements of auto battler and tower defense titles. It is the second installment in the series started in 2019. The previous game was The Coma series in its portfolio.

Story

Vambrace: Dungeon Monarch takes us to a gloomy fantasy world. During the game, we play as the titular Monarch, the regent of the dungeon god. Our task is to defend the underground from various troublemakers and rivals of our ruler, who are trying to reach the golden throne and destroy it, leading to the annihilation of the entire dungeon.

Gameplay

In Vambrace: Dungeon Monarch, the action is viewed from a side perspective, with the camera suspended high above the battlefield. The core of the game are battles with opponents. From time to time we also have to participate in random events.

Card battles

During clashes, we play cards that summon units to the arena and allow us to use spells and combat skills. The number of cards we can take with us is limited, so we must carefully compose the deck, making sure that its elements complement each other.

When one of our subordinates enters the battlefield, they attack independently, and we can provide them with by playing cards that increase the damage they inflict or provide them with additional armor. In addition to this, we can strike enemies with lightning, throw fireballs at them or send volleys of arrows their way.

The game also allows us to build defensive towers, which further increase our chances of success, as well as construct other buildings, including those that speed up the recruitment of units or provide us with access to additional functions.
