A stand-alone add-on to the warmly welcomed text adventure Wanderlust Travel Stories. Wanderlust: Transsiberian tells the story of two travellers on board the Trans-Siberian Railway, whose fate is shaped by our choices.
Wanderlust: Transsiberian is a stand-alone expansion to the 2019 text adventure game Wanderlust Travel Stories. Add-on was developed by the authors of the original, that is independent Polish studio Different Tales. As the story told in this add-on is not connected with the original story, it can be treated both as an introduction for new players and an extension of the fun with the basic version of the game (for those who already have it behind them).
Wanderlust: Transsiberian tells the story of the adventures of two travellers crossing Russia on board the Transsiberian Railway. The expedition from Vladivostok to Moscow is a necessity to travel more than nine thousand kilometers, and during the expedition the heroes get to know other engers and make decisions that affect their future fate.
Wanderlust: Transsiberian does not differ from the scheme developed for the original. The gameplay therefore consists of reading the next parts of the story and making frequent choices. Apart from the choices, the course of the plot is influenced by the level of stress and fatigue of our heroes, as well as the wealth of their wallets. It is worth mentioning that the add-on has been developed in such a way that it can be completed within an hour.
Wanderlust: Transsiberian does not make major changes to the graphic design. The text is accompanied by a variety of illustrations, photographs and animations depicting the places where our guests are at the moment and the events they are participating in.
