Wanted: Dead

Mechanics

The gameplay of Wanted: Dead is shown from the third-person perspective (TPP). The player must make their way through various locations and eliminate hordes of enemies.

Combat is extremely dynamic, with the protagonist adept at wielding both a katana and firearms. Lieutenant Stone uses her weaponry with speed, grace and precision worthy of John Wick himself. During each brutal (as the protagonist can easily dismember enemies with each swing of her blade) encounter, the key to success is to stay mobile and chain attacks into spectacular combos; as an example, one can first weaken an enemy with the katana before finishing them off with a headshot (or several). Other than humans we'll face powerful combat machines, which are much more challenging opponents.

Between missions and slaughter we visit our headquarters, where Lieutenant Stone can rest, eat and drink, gaining special bonuses by doing so.

Technical aspects

The visuals of Wanted: Dead are decent. The attack animations, as well as the slowdown effect accompanying the most flashy combos may be especially appealing.
