X4: Cradle of Humanity

Mechanics

Cradle of Humanity is a classic add-on, focusing mainly on expanding the game content. DLC significantly expands the space available to players, offering a wide range of new sectors. It also introduces a large set of fresh feature missions. Two more factions the game, belonging to Terran, i.e. from the Solar System. Each of them has its own economy, ships, space stations and unique weapons.

The expansion also introduces extra starting options that familiarize us with the history, culture and politics of the new factions, as well as offering an opportunity to look at the events of X4: Foundations from a different perspective.

Technical aspects

Cradle of Humanity is not a stand-alone expansion, so a basic version of X4: Foundations is required to play.
