X4: Tides of Avarice

Mechanics

This is a traditional add-on that doesn't introduce any revolutionary changes, instead focusing on expanding content and gameplay mechanics.

In addition, the expansion brings more variety to the game through the implementation of stellar phenomena that significantly affect gameplay.

X4: Tides of Avarice also includes new ships. Among them we'll find the Erlking, a pirate battleship with an experimental energy source, and the luxurious star yacht Astrid. In addition, the player received the option of scrapping found wrecks. It is possible to tow them to specialized points, as well as less profitable dismantling on site.

Game modes

Just like the basic version of the game, X4: Tides of Avarice offers only the single player mode.
