One time you'll be visited by a group of beginner adventurers - ask Kana what to do with them and she will suggest what quest to give them. They will appear in the Keep two more times- tell them to investigate the King of Shadows, and lastly: Illefarn ruins. They will always send you a hilarious report on their progress, and eventually present you with a Ring of Optimism (hah). |
Special missions are little side-events that Kana tells you about and awaits your decision whether to send the men or not. It's generally better to deal with all of them, as you'll get some gold from each one, and your soldiers gather experience this way. The outcome of a special mission is based on your unit's overall condition.
