A Highland Song with a release date
The title will debut on Steam and Nintendo Switch on December 5.. In the case of Valve's platform, the game can be added to the wish list, but the price is not yet known. A Highland Song can, however, already be pre-ordered for Nintendo Switch for the price of $16.19, so we assume the pricing will be similar on Steam.
A Highland Song is a combination of a story-driven platformer and a rhythm game. In the game we play as a 15-year-old girl named Moira, whose task is to reach a lighthouse - for this purpose she traverses the Scottish hills, where every careless step can end in a painful fall. The whole game was bathed in an audiovisual setting full of beautiful views and relaxing, catchy music.
The independent studio Inkle is responsible for the game, which has in its output the aforementioned 80 Days and Heaven's Vault. The studio was founded in 2011 by Joseph Humfrey and Jon Ingold. Over time, the creators were ed by other artists for whom ion for games is the main driving force.
