Among Us 3D on consoles? Xbox, PS5, PS4 and Switch ports explained

Coop titles are on the rise recently. We have seen the next, interesting iteration of this series has been released on consoles like Xbox, PS4, PS5, Switch, and even mobile devices, what about the most recent entry? Let’s find out.
Among Us 3D Xbox, PS4, PS5 and Switch release explained
Even though Among Us has lost a lot of its fanbase, it is still one of the most recognizable party-coop franchises out there. Trying to build up on the success of the game, the developers from InnerSloth have created Among Us VR that will soon be altered to Among Us 3D, allowing people on PC to play without necessity for Virtual Reality equipment. As the release date doesn’t seem to be far away, many players wonder what about console ports for Xbox, PS4, PS5, or Switch?
Sadly, for now the answer is unknown. On the official FAQ, there is no information about console ports whatsoever. The only hint we have is about PS5 and PS4, since Among Us VR is available on PlayStation VR2, yet it still doesn't mean that AU3D will be playable on that console without the Virtual Reality headset.
All of this, of course, does not indicate that the port will not happen eventually. We have to that the original Among Us was also initially available on PC and mobile devices to be eventually released to all major consoles. As always, we can say that if 3D does well enough on Steam, we can expect the creators to work on its Xbox, PlayStation or Switch versions in the future.
