Baldur's Gate 3 Patch 8 seems to be just around the corner. Larian upgrades latest major update to hit RPG for the third time
Baldur's Gate 3 received another update as part of the ongoing Patch 8 tests. Could it be that the Larian studio is already on the final stretch?

Larian Studios Baldur’s Gate 3. As part of the ongoing Patch 8 tests, the third update has been released, concentrating on fixing various bugs, improving game stability, and balancing new subclasses. Developers, as always, also encourage players to report any errors on the dedicated page.
Most important fixes in Update #3
The third update includes many changes and improvements - I recommend checking out the complete list in the official Steam post. Below, you can read about the most important ones.
- Several serious bugs causing crashes have been fixed, including when switching between mouse and keyboard control and a controller while in the character creator.
- The bug causing character armors to become invisible under certain circumstances has been fixed. Dozens of minor bugs of this type have also been eliminated.
- The stability of online gameplay has been improved, eliminating, among other issues, random loss of connection and game freezing when new players the session.
- The balance of new subclasses, including Hexblade and Arcane Archer, have been improved. Moreover, the issue with action resource icons in the character creator was resolved, along with bugs in the animations of some new abilities.
- Regarding the photo mode - a new feature in BF3 that players have likely been anticipating since October 2023 - issues such as the darkening of the second player's screen in split-screen mode and the incorrect functioning of certain character poses have been resolved.
Larian on the home stretch?
Patch 8 has been tested by since the studio's latest release, and nearly four weeks since the one before that (which might indicate that the next one will be released tomorrow). Although the exact release date of Patch 8 is not yet known, the pace of updates suggests that the final version may appear soon.
