British studio Absolutely Games has revealed its first project, Classified: '44, a game set during World War II. The game draws from the solutions known from the XCOM series.

Absolutely Games has revealed its latest work, Classified: '44, via a trailer. Tha game is set to debut this year.
The game from the British developer is a representative of the tactical turn-based strategy genre and is set during the Second World War, specifically in in 1944, on the eve of the Allied operation Neptune.
In Classified: '44 players will take control of a special team of Allied commandos and French resistance , who together will take part in both high-profile actions and diversionary operations against the German occupiers.

- Classified: '44 will enable you to select a small team to take part in a given operation.
- Like in XCOM, the locations will be separate skirmish arenas, within which you will have to complete mission objectives.
- As the developers assure, the campaign will be playable in different ways, and the game will offer a total of 45 unique missions and several endings..
- In addition to open combat, players will also be able to eliminate opponents silently.
The developers announced that the game will receive "long-term" after its release, which will include updates and expansions.
They also announced that upon its debut the game will include a custom mission creator, as well as modding tools.
We have not learned the exact release date of Classified: '44, but we know that the game will be released in 2023. The work of Absolutely Games is heading for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
