Cyberpunk 2077 devs share new screenshots and tell us a little something about the quest system
4 new screenshots straight from gamescom 2018 for Cyberpunk 2077 fans – check. But that's not all – there is also a bit of new info relating to the structure of the game's quest system.
CD Projekt RED is out there at gamescom. They brought Cyberpunk 2077, and although they don’t yet feel ready to show us the gameplay, they have something to make up for it. Without further ado, here are 4 brand new 2077 screenshots:




CD Projekt RED’s quest designer Patrick Mills also gave us a quick rundown on the philosophy behind Cyberpunk’s quest composition. They are, of course, non-linear, but so are quests in any modern cRPG. More importantly – they are ed-up (which apparently makes them very similar to tasks players had to deal with in two of The Witcher 3’s expansions – Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine). What this means is that every item you pick up or encounter matters, and might be part of a quest – whether you realize it or not.
