Dead Rising 1, 2, and Off the Record set for launch on next-gen consoles and PC
Frank West and Chuck Greene are back, with the alleged remasters of Dead Rising, Dead Rising 2, and Dead Rising 2: Off the Record heading to PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One later this year.
He’s covered wars, you know. And now, after 10 years, he’s about to reintroduce himself to the audience. Frank West, Dead Rising’s 2 Chuck Greene, are going to end the zombie apocalypse once and for all – this time on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and (again) PC, Capcom has revealed.

The publisher also said that they will have more news to share soon, leaving us with no info on whether the re-releases will simply be ports, or if we’re going to experience full-blown remasters. But since Dead Rising 2 and Off the Record are both available on PC right now (and they don’t look so fresh anymore), and Dead Rising 1 hasn’t aged too well, it is safe to anticipate at least a few visual enhancements.
More details regarding the (possible) remasters are coming soon, and the release date remains to be announced. In the meantime, don’t forget about Dead Rising 4 (featuring Frank West as well), that’s about to hit PC and Xbox One this Christmas.
