Enigma of Fear (EoF)– Console (PS5, PS4, Xbox, Switch) Release Explained
At this point there is not much known about a console version of Enigma of Fear. However, we are certain that it is planned. How do we know that? Of course, from developers. On the official Discord server, one of them announced that console ports are planned some time after PC release.
Sadly, it is not specified what consoles will be ed. Of course, we may assume that Xbox Series X / S and PlayStation 5 are a quite safe bet. Nintendo Switch is also a valid option for this kind of games (of course, if “Switch 2” will not be released sooner). The previous generation, like PS4 and Xbox One are not so certain, though, as more and more developers decide to concentrate on the new devices (as they are more common among players).
It seems that we have to wait for official information. though, that in such cases, the most important is initial PC launch. If Enigma of Fear is popular enough, we do not have to worry about ports. If it is not, though, the console version may never happen. So, let’s be patient.
