Gamescom 2021 Will be Live and With Online Conferences
Gamescom trade show is back despite the pandemic. At least in part, because in addition to online presentations, we will also get a more modest physical event.

After over a year the coronavirus is still with us. Nobody even thinks about small events, not to mention big conferences or fairs. However, this does not deter the organizers of GamesCom, who this year want to invite the players to a hybrid edition of the event. A post on the event's official website reveals the details.
Like many other trade shows in 2020, a digital event. It was said to have been - as we read - a great success, but the conducted survey clearly showed that the vast majority of attendees miss the "classic" GamesCom and the opportunity to check out the games presented at the fair in person.
The results of the survey encouraged the organizers to work out a set of rules together with the Cologne authorities in order to prepare the event in accordance with the local regulations related to COVID-19. This takes into , among other things, a much smaller number of visitors. Details were discussed on a special website. It was noted that GamesCom 2021 could once again take the form of an all-digital presentation should the outbreak problems escalate.
As every year, the fair will take place in the last days of August, with the opening ceremony led by the online edition of E3 2021, but without any real events.
