Horizon Zero Dawn Remaster for PS5 and Online Spin-off Possible (Rumor)

A remaster or remake of Horizon Zero Dawn may be coming to PS5, according to a report ed by numerous sources. What's more, the next installment is expected to be a multiplayer title.

According to an unconfirmed report, Horizon Zero Dawn for PlayStation 5, and a multiplayer game set in this universe cannot be ruled out either.

Horizon: Zero Dawn even prettier

The report shows that the new version of Horizon: Zero Dawn would offer prettier graphics. The remaster or remake is expected to receive new character models, sharper textures, and improved lighting (ambient occlusion, etc.). The announcement also mentions new features - including additional graphic settings (e.g. for VRR - variable frame rate) or improvements in gameplay mechanics (taken from Forbidden West).

It is worth recalling that the game already lived to see a refresh, released on PC in 2020 in the form of Horizon: Zero Dawn - Complete Edition. The port included the original game with all DLCs, 4K mode, bumped up frame rate, as well as improved graphics (such as increased draw distance).

This time the changes are expected to be bigger, taking the game to the level known from The Last of Us: Part I.

Horizon with multiplayer mode

Refresh of Horizon: Zero Dawn is probably not the only project related to the Horizon brand. Horizon series. The isolated multiplayer mode is expected to be a completely new.

Currently, the only confirmed title in the series is PlayStation VR2 in mind.
