HUSK is a Silent Hill-inspired horror game from the developers of Kholat
Fans of Silent Hill and Alan Wake will be pleased to meet HUSK, an FPP survival horror co-developed by indie studio UndeadScout and IMGN.pro – the creators of Kholat. Check out the first teaser trailer and screenshots.
Fans of horror games have just got another title to look out for. Creators of Alan Wake, currently in development by the indie team at UndeadScout. Just like in the cult series by Keiichiro Toyama, HUSK will be set in a small American town called Shivercliff, which hides a terryfing second nature. The player will assume the role of Matthew Palmer, desperate to find his family in this gloomy place after the train they were traveling on got derailed. Watch the teaser trailer here:
While exploring Shivercliff, the player will have to fight enemies, solve puzzles, and discover the town’s dark mystery. Although HUSK is powered by Unreal Engine 4, we should not expect a visual extasy – the overall stylistic will be rather gloomy, as befits a horror game. When it comes to audio, the soundtrack will be composed by Arkadiusz Reikowski, author of music from Layers of Fear and Kholat. The publisher did not specify which platforms HUSK is coming for, but we can safely bet PC is one of them.
