This could be a beautifully serene journey through Japan’s konbini culture. It’s not just about stocking shelves, selling goods, and mopping floors – here choices will matter.

Picture this: a quiet life in a homely little Japanese town, working at a convenience store. Just imagine standing by your bike at a railway crossing, waiting for the train to , with the soothing sound of cicadas in the background. That’s the dream. inKONBINI: One Store. Many Stories might just be the perfect way to capture that very feeling.

When running a store becomes a beautiful story

The sim genre has been blowing up lately, especially with the whole supermarket theme. Supermarket Together came in and stole the spotlight. Now, inKONBINI: One Store. Many Stories looks like it’s bringing a similar management experience, but with a much cozier, story-driven vibe.

inKONBINI: One Store. Many Stories is a chill, narrative-driven sim from Nagai Industries, set in a small Japanese town in the early '90s. It’s all about that wholesome, slice-of-life charm, letting us step into the shoes of Makoto Hayakawa – a college student taking a break from school to run her aunt’s konbini while she’s away.

We’ll spend our days stocking shelves with delicious onigiri and those irresistibly addictive wasabi snacks, helping out customers, and having heartfelt conversations with the locals. As we get to know them, their stories will start to intertwine, bringing out themes of connection, nostalgia, and the quiet beauty of everyday life.

So, if you’re looking for rather interesting take on simulator games, inKONBINI with its soft art style and relaxing atmosphere could be for you. It’s coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. Fingers crossed it will be soon!

Been with gamepressure.androidapks.biz since 2019, mostly writing game guides but you can also find me geeking out about LEGO (huge collection, btw). Love RPGs and classic RTSs, also adore quirky indie games. Even with a ton of games, sometimes I just gotta fire up Harvest Moon, Stardew Valley, KOTOR, or Baldur's Gate 2 (Shadows of Amn, the OG, not that Throne of Bhaal stuff). When I'm not gaming, I'm probably painting miniatures or iring my collection of retro consoles.
