“It's different from what I've done before.” After leaving The Witcher, Henry Cavill wants to do justice to another beloved IP, which he is bringing to screens
Henry Cavill has taken on work on another beloved IP, however, this time he will have a greater say in how the adaptation will look and promises to do justice to the source material.

Henry Cavill ed The Witcher team full of ion for the universe created by Andrzej Sapkowski, which he got into through CD Projekt RED's games. The actor has mentioned in the past that he tried to use dialogue from the books in the series and was in favor of staying true to the source material. He also declared that he was ready to play in all seven planned seasons, wanting to play Geralt for as long as possible. Yet after appearing in three seasons, Cavill parted ways with The Witcher, although the series continues with Liam Hemsworth replacing the previous Geralt actor.
Henry Cavill has ended his adventure with one beloved IP, but in its place he has found another one, also loved by him, in which he could become even more involved, as a producer having an influence on the shape of the films and TV shows to come. We're talking about Warhammer 40,000, of which Cavill is a fan, often talking that he loves to paint figures for the game in his spare time.
Cavill has managed to become an executive producer of Warhammer films and TV series for Amazon Studios, and is even set to star in one of those productions. This job, he itted in an interview with Esquire, is “a dream come true.”
It's different from what I've done before, in the sense I haven't had my hand on the tiller of things before. It's wonderful doing that. It is a tricky IP, and a very complex IP, and that's what I love about it. The challenges that come with putting this on the page in a way that is doing justice to that complexity, that trickiness, and that nuance, is a challenge I'm enjoying enormously.
As you can see, the actor and executive producer declares that he intends to do justice to Warhammer, wanting to create productions worthy of the IP. Given his commitment to making Netflix's The Witcher more faithful to the books, it seems Henry Cavill really believes what he says.
And now he's going to have more influence on the shape of the production. In The Witcher, he was only an actor. He could influence his character to some extent, but he was not involved in the most important decisions. This time will be different, however, we won't know the effects of his work too soon.
