Jason Schreier: Cyberpunk 2077 is Definitely Not Coming This Year
Jason Schreier from Kotaku referred to rumors about the release date of Cyberpunk 2077. According to the journalist, the new CD Projekt RED game will certainly not be released this year.

In two weeks this year's edition of the E3 will begin, and with it we will see the presentation of many games. For many, the main attraction of the event will be presentation of rumors of a possible release date, but apparently it will not happen this year. At least that's what Jason Schreier from Kotaku says on Twitter where he denied the rumors about the launch of Cyberpunk 2077 in 2019.
Of course, this is not an official statement of the game devs, but the message can be considered as almost confirmed. Jason Schreier has repeatedly obtained reliable information. Other reports on the new game from CD Project RED confirm his version. Although Cyberpunk 2077 will appear on E3 2019, the participants will not be able to play it, which probably means that the work is far from complete. We also know that the studio released no later than 2021. In this context, the debut of the title within the next six months seems somewhat doubtful.

This does not mean that the rumor about the E3 reveal of the game's release date can be put between fairy tales, but to confirm or deny it we will probably have to wait until the presentation. So far, we can only arm ourselves with patience.
