Keyboard or controller? This is a popular question in the case of sports games. Rematch isn’t an exception. However, it seems that we have a clear winner in this case.

matchmaking seems to be far from being polished, you can even receive an error instead of a match. What about the ancient war between keyboard and controller? At this moment, the mouse and keyboard are not extremely fun to use. So, the controller won the fight without much competition.

Keyboard or controller in Rematch? What to choose?

Rematch allows you to play using a mouse and keyboard or controller. After the previous beta, developers decided to change keybinds. Many people believe that it is for the worse. On the freely rebind them, is not implemented yet.

So, if you can choose between those two (and probably you can if you are here), play Rematch using a controller. It is a better option according to numerous players. Take into consideration, though, that we are talking about beta phase. It is possible that it will become better after 1.0 release or later. We must wait and see.

However, in general controllers are preferred for sports and racing games. So, it’s not surprising that Rematch players also pick it instead of a keyboard and mouse. Nevertheless, bad keybinding is still the problem. Die-hard PC players don't always have a controller.

Rematch will launch on 19th June on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. If you want to check out the game earlier, this beta test is probably your last chance. However, you must hurry. It will end on May 31st.
