Co-op games are a great way to spend time with friends. Productions like Cookie Jam). However, you can’t play it alone. You need someone to help you. Can they be found using matchmaking?

Multiplayer in POPUCOM explained

POPUCOM is a co-op adventure game. You and your friends will explore a mysterious planet full of many different challenges. Prepare for solving environmental puzzles or fighting with powerful enemies.

The game is not designed for a single player. To run it you must have a companion. Their number depends on the mode you choose:

  1. Story Mode allows you to play a campaign with one additional person.
  2. Party Mode was designed for 3 – 4 players.

Of course, the game s online matches, but there is also an option to play couch co-op. This makes POPUCOM a good choice for parties.

Additionally, you should keep in mind that you must find companions to play. POPUCOM doesn’t offer matchmaking. There is also good news, though. POPUCOM s crossplay between Steam and Epic.

POPUCOM on consoles (PS5, Xbox) explained

Right now, you can play POPUCOM only on PC (via Steam and Epic Games Store). However, developers also have plans to port the game on PlayStation 4 and PS5. Sadly, the release date is unknown right now. So, if you are a die-hard Sony console player, you must be patient. There are also plans to make the game compatible with Steam Deck. Unfortunately, the Xbox version was not confirmed (but “yet” in this Steam post is promising).
