What do Twilight have in common? Robert Pattinson, of course, who starred in both series, however, that's not all. There is another element that links the two titles together, and that comes from the idea of the actor playing Cedric Diggory and Edward Cullen.

Robert Pattinson revisited his appearances in Harry Potter and Twilight in an interview with GQ, in which he discussed his iconic roles. The actor revealed that in both series he managed to sneak his own idea that ties them together. Specifically, he talked about jumping off a tree, which he thought was an interesting way to make an entrance and which he decided to use in not one, but two films.

It was definitely my concept to jump out of the tree at the beginning, for my intro, which I then kind of repeated later on in Twilight. For some reason, I always have a suggestion to be like, “Why doesn’t he just appear, just like jumping out of a tree?”

Pattinson, however, particularly prides himself on the fact that in the Harry Potter film series, his character was the first to die on screen. For the actor, this is one of the most unforgettable elements of his performance, which he talks about with pride.

He’s the first death in Harry Potter, which is my claim to fame.

His performance in Harry Potter was also unforgettable for viewers themselves. For many, Cedric Diggory is one of their favorite characters, and his tragic fate is one of the more touching stories throughout the series.

Pattinson, as you can see, liked to play with his roles and introduce ideas that were fun for him, as well as adding variety to the dynamics of the scenes involving him.
