NASA Confirms Involvement in Tom Cruise's Space Movie
NASA representative confirmed that the agency is involved in the first live-action movie with scenes shot in space. The agency revealed why it has decided to forces with SpaceX and Tom Cruise on the project and where exactly the production will take place.
A few days ago we informed that Elon Musk's SpaceX, NASA and Tom Cruise are in talks about ing forces to create the first live-action movie with scenes shot in space. We did not have to wait long for an official confirmation. This was done on Twitter by Jim Bridenstine, of the US National Aeronautics and Space Agency.
Bridenstine revealed that NASA has agreed to get involved in this project because it wants to "inspire a new generation of engineers and scientists" through the new media in order to be able to realize its ambitious plans in the future. He also revealed that the action of the movie itself will be set on the International Space Station.
Despite this confirmation from NASA, the film tself remains a big mystery. We don't even know the name of the director, the screenwriter, any details of the plot, or even the studio that will produce it (via Game Rant). We will definitely have to wait a bit for its premiere.
