Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge, was the first publisher to showcase its new game at The Game Awards 2024, hosted by Geoff Keighley.
We have posted the first trailer of the new Ninja Gaiden below.
For accuracy, the last installment of Ninja Gaiden was released in 2014, but the (relatively) modern installments of the series were more three-dimensional action games than classic beat'em ups. Ragebound seems to be closer to the series' roots, also in of pixelated graphics, the style of which may seem familiar to you. The development of the game is handled not only by Dotemu but also by The Game Kitchen team, the devs of the successful Blasphemous metroidvania series.
Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound is coming to PC (Steam), Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, and Xbox console (probably PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S). The release is scheduled for the summer of 2025.
