The wait is finally over, now the only thing left to wonder is the price. GTA 6’s new trailer just arrived, and May 2026 can’t come soon enough.

It’s here! And we only had to wait a year and a half for it. The second trailer for the first one. This time, we got an even better look at Vice City, and of course more details about Jason and Lucia.

GTA 6 trailer 2 has landed

For anyone who was hoping GTA 6 would drop this year, May kicked off with some disappointing news – the release date was finally revealed, and it's set for May 26, 2026. To be honest, I wasn’t really expecting it to arrive in 2025 anyway, so it didn’t come as much of a shock to me. What did surprise me, though, was that the announcement came without a trailer. But we've finally got one now.

Aside from the trailer, Rockstar Games also updated the game’s official website, revealing some details about the story and main characters. As we already know, Grand Theft Auto 6 will follow the story of Lucia and Jason – a pair of criminals whose botched heist pulls them into the middle of a sprawling criminal conspiracy across the fictional state of Leonida.

Lucia, recently released from prison, and Jason, a former soldier with a mysterious past, take center stage. The new footage focuses heavily on their relationship, while also showing off plenty of action (nothing new for GTA) and glimpses of everyday life in Vice City. In the trailer, we even get a quick shot of how much Jason can bench.

The trailer also teases the return of iconic elements, like the Ammu-Nation gun shops and high-speed chases with heavy firepower. One especially eye-catching moment feels straight out of Fast & Furious, with a car dragging a giant safe through city streets. GTA 6 is definitely staying true to its roots, while also $100 for a game. Please Rockstar, just have mercy on our wallets.

Been with gamepressure.androidapks.biz since 2019, mostly writing game guides but you can also find me geeking out about LEGO (huge collection, btw). Love RPGs and classic RTSs, also adore quirky indie games. Even with a ton of games, sometimes I just gotta fire up Harvest Moon, Stardew Valley, KOTOR, or Baldur's Gate 2 (Shadows of Amn, the OG, not that Throne of Bhaal stuff). When I'm not gaming, I'm probably painting miniatures or iring my collection of retro consoles.
