Nintendo Switch 2 is here - let the banana tossing begin! We survived the wait, so now bring on the games
Let’s see what this baby can do. It’s bigger, faster, and more powerful than the original, and the Internet’s already blowing up with Switch 2 showcases.
Happy Nintendo Switch 2 launch day, everyone! Hope you gave your mailman/delivery driver a big hug like I did when it finally arrived. Not going to lie, the wait was brutal, especially last week with all the talk of cancelations going around. But turns out you can still grab one the old-fashioned way by just walking into a store. Looks like they actually made enough consoles for all of us.
Not much to play (yet), but I got my Switch 2
Yes, of course the first thing I did was fire up recorded gameplay so far looks pretty promising.
Switch 2 already started heating up just from tossing bananas in Mario Kart, so I can only imagine how non-Nintendo games are going to push it to its limits. That said, there aren’t a ton of brand-new titles dropping specifically for the Switch 2 today, mostly just upgraded versions.
For me, Hyrule Warriors – still no release dates in sight.
So in the meantime, I’m just going to mess around with this little machine, I’m really curious to try out the Joy-Con’s mouse feature. Also grabbed all the DLCs for Dave the Diver, so I’ve got plenty to keep me busy.
