And considering that Geoff Keighley is good friends with Hideo Kojima, I wouldn't be surprised if some sort of short teaser of a game the Japanese developer is currently working on was shown at Summer Game Fest 2022. It's been over two and a half years since the release of there have been rumors of a sequel.
