Surprise release of Lies of P: Overture. Check out the new trailer for the DLC to highly rated soulslike
A new trailer for Lies of P: Overture has been revealed to celebrate the surprise release of the highly anticipated DLC.

Update (June 6th, 02:58 pm PT)
Not on Sunday, but today at Summer Game Fest 2025 we saw Lies of P: Overture. And also today, unexpectedly, the DLC was released. You can watch the trailer below. The expansion on Steam is priced at $29.99.
Original news (June 6th)
An unexpected trailer for the Lies of P: Overture expansion has appeared on the Internet, which apparently leaked prematurely (via VGC). The trailer for the soulslike quickly caught the attention of players, all thanks to a surprising climax.
The video ends with the message: "Available now on Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One," which suggests that the expansion's release may happen any moment, perhaps even during the Xbox Game Showcase presentation, which will take place on Sunday.
A potential quick debut shouldn't be a surprise to anyone, even if the way it's announced was totally unplanned. It has been known for some time that Round8 Studio's game is set to launch in the summer of 2025.
Lies of P: Overture will take us back in time, allowing us to visit the city of Krat before the events that inaugurated the base game and get to know the Legendary Tracker. Even though we're still talking about the expansion, the devs have prepared a full experience for us. According to the game director, completing the DLC can take players over 20 hours.
Overture is to maintain the brutal level of difficulty known from Lies of P, and some parts of the DLC will pose a serious challenge even for the most experienced players.
People unfamiliar with soulslike games, however, have nothing to fear - Lies of P: Overture will offer the option to choose the difficulty level. All this to attract the widest possible audience.
